When I came home from those 10 days of training I had a plan. I love to plan, I don’t always love to do. I started writing my plans on cards and put them above my works station. I had targets and tasks for everything and dates attached to each. Exercise, cooking, contacts, rank, you name it I had a plan. This is also when I started to choose a theme or a focus for each month. The final piece to the puzzle was my affirmation cards. I chose 2 cards for each month.
Some how things started to work out really well for me, I was meeting and exceeding my goals. I was getting more done and things really started to change for the better for me. I really think that having a constant reminder of what you want to do and knowing why you want to do it helps keep me on track.

The affirmations for this month were changed today, I need my old favorites. “I live in the moment” and “Everything works out for me!” I will get through this next few weeks, some of the things that I originally planned to accomplish will have to be pushed back a few weeks, but all the important stuff will get done. I will ask for help and I will say no to things that I would have lived to do, but this is temporary. I want these next few weeks to be family fun, so today I take a deep breath and book a flight less than a week away for the first time in my life. I don’t think I’ve ever booked a flight less than 30 days out. So cheers to new adventures.
